It
seems like the trend in Young Adult fiction are post-apocalyptic
themes. This one explores a town that seems to be a utopia but later
reveals dystopic governance- harmful and imperfect. The book is a part
of a loose quartet by the same author, #loislowry
and the movie casted Taylor Swift which made it less likeable but was
compensated by casting Merryl Streep. The movie also made major
modifications including those parts that weave this one to the other
three books.
